Not quite long enough to cover one's ears
The fabulous thing about knitting a hat top-down is that you can try it on for length as you go along. Even when it's obviously not completed, a try-on is not a bad thing.
Another knitter can tell from this picture that I'm a big fan of the KnitPicks Options
interchangeable needles--the telltale purple cord is present and accounted for in this picture. Maybe tonight, if I don't pass out from the sheer exhaustion of a week's worth of work-related stuff, I'll come close to finishing the item in the above picture.

I didn't know it was a Knitpicks Options hat, even tho I am a knitter lol But I DO think its a very pretty color! Hope you have had a chance to work on it more this week! Will be neat to see the finished product =)
